happy thankgiving

Today I am thankful another day of life and bless that I can see all my family in one place to have a good time. I am also thankful for that I can move forward with my life knowing I am one day closer to my degree.

safe-ness

A way that I keep myself safe when I walk down the street is to keep check of my sirrounding of where I'm at, at time. I also keep my house keys in my pocket just in case someone want to be funny and attack  at anytime. I can just stab them in the face or in the eyes. Something I did learn in class is that never walk alone if you do walk on a main street where there is a lot of people.

body feeling and ethicity

The way I feel about body is very self-conscious. When I am changing clothes I like to be myself, I need my privacy. I don't feel that my ethnicity have anything to do with being self-conscious. Any girl in every ethnicity feel self-conscious of there body. Every girl in the world have different feeling and opinion about theirs thought of how their body work. Ethnicity may have a small part in how girls look at themselves but everybody body is not the same and don't work the same. I don't think there are different standards of beauty because of ethnicity. The ethnicity that are around, they all look at the body in a different way, but with the same mind set. So yes, I do think there are different standards of beauty but at the end of the day the results will be the same.

sexism

I do feel that body image contributes to sexism in our culture because many people more like girls always worries about who and how they look. I feel that sexism is a big reason why rape happen in the first place. Many people come to america for a better life but also stay with the religion they have like Muslim or something like that. so yes sexism is a big contributes to our culture.

self-image

My self-image has never been influenced by the media or by other aspects of popular culture. My self-image has never been influenced by the media or by other aspects of popular culture because i never put or threw my body out  into the world in a negative or disguised way. I respect myself and my body as a a young woman. My self-image is the number one thing that in important to me.popular culture doesn't really matter to me. Every culture is different in it own way so therefore each culture can express themselves in a way the interest of others in a good way.

personally feeling about my body functions

Personally sometimes I want my functions to happen a certain way and sometimes i don't. At times it can be very  stressful, annoying, and aggravating. Many times I wouldn't have to deal with my  woman function day by day, in and out. Many times I wanted to do certain things that boys were only allowed to but worth while to be a girl. That how I personally  feel about my bodies functions.
